So at Mothers & Menus we provide you with an average daily calorie amount based on your needs. A new mother receives an average of 1,800 calories a day, a weight loss client receives about 1,200 calories a day, and a mother nursing twins receives about 2,200 calories a day, all in the form of whole, real foods.

Pregnancy is a great time to make changes to your diet, and is, in fact, a time when most women embark on a new, healthy eating plan – so that they can provide their babies with the best start possible. But pregnancy can also throw you some curveballs – like morning sickness and crazy cravings! So when we build your menu, we take into account your specific needs – less greens when you are nauseas, occasional comfort foods for those who crave it and a daily chocolate fix for our chocoholics.
